Adult Education Programs
St. Philip's offers a wide variety of Adult Educational Programs throughout the Church Year These programs range from short sessions between Sunday Church Services to in depth study and discussion programs over many weeks.
Adult Forums
Time: Sunday mornings from 9:35-10:20
Schedules are posted at various locations through the church as well as appearing as bulletin inserts at various times in the year. Be sure to check the Church Calendar on the home page for any changes.
Baptism Class
Who: Parents who expect to have child Baptized at St. Philip's Church.
When: 3rd Tuesday of month, 7:00 p.m.
Where: Sanctuary
The class lasts only 30 minutes so feel free to bring the baby along!
Bible Study
Various Bible study classes are conducted each year at the church. Please contact the Church office for a complete schedule of classes being offered. Announcements are also made in the Sunday bulletins, The Friend, and on the Bulletin Boards at various locations throughout the church. Check the Church Calendar on the home page for any changes.
The current class is called Tuesdays Together.
LEAFs (Life Enrichment Adult Forum for Seniors)
This ecumenical adult experience is a stay at home "elderhostel." Enrollment and participation is open to anyone who has interest. This series provides opportunity for senior adults to enjoy lifelong learning, creative expression, and interfaith fellowship.
Participants can choose two of the offerings presented, one for each of the hours each day. Each session is designed to stand on its own.
Snack and Lunch are provided with time for fellowship following the meal.
Sessions are in two groups, four in the fall, four in the spring, and are held on Mondays two weeks apart.
