9 - 12 Youth
Programs
St. Philip's offers a complete
9 - 12th Ministries.
Youth and parents can learn about these events, programs, and
everything else for High School at St. Philip's.
Some of the programs of importance are:
-
Youth Live!
Sundays from 9:30-10:20 a.m. all 6th-12th graders are invited to
Fellowship Hall for Youth Live! We begin with a 15-minute worship led by a
youth band followed by small groups (age specific). Each week we cover a
real, relevant issue facing youth Christians today! Register in the main office or just come and check us out any
Sunday morning!
-
High School Youth Night
(Wednesdays)
High School Youth Night is a time for 9th-12th graders to come to
learn about their faith while having fun with one another. We begin with a
message or discussion using our Bibles, popular movies and TV clips, or
songs. Then we spend time hanging out, playing games, and doing other fun
activities. We meet in the Youth Room from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
-
TIM Team (Teens in Ministry)
TIM Team is our high school leadership group at St. Philip’s. TIM
Teamers help lead our children’s and middle school ministries as leaders,
musicians, skit performers and mentors. They teach younger youth and
children about Jesus and share their faith through actions. We also do fun
activities to build camaraderie.
-
Fun events,
service projects, camp, mission trips...
In addition to regular programs our year is filled with fun events
and crazy gatherings (Lockouts, parties, etc.), service projects
(Fall/Spring Fling, etc.). Around 90 youth go to Camp Luther Dell in Remer,
MN each summer and many go on a week long mission trip. Check the Youth
Bulletin board, weekly bulletin, or Angie K!
