Healing Prayers

Healing prayers are provided at both services on the third Saturday and Sunday of each month.  Prayers that have been printed and made available to the Congregation are then posted on this web site.

Serenity Garden Prayer

     "Be still, and know that I am God!

        I am exalted among the nations,

        I am exalted in the earth."

      The Lord of hosts is with us;

        the God of Jacob is our refuge.

Psalm 46:10-11

March 2003 Prayer

Oh most loving Father, you want us to give thanks for all things, to fear nothing except losing you, and to lay all our cares on you, knowing that you care for us.  Grant that fears and anxieties in this mortal life may not hide from us the light of your immortal love shown to us in your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

February 2003 Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
...where there is injury, pardon;
...where there is doubt, faith;
...where there is despair, hope;
...where there is darkness, light;
...where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
...to be consoled as to console;
...to be understood as to understand;
...to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
...it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
...and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

-  St .Francis of Assisi

January 2003 Prayer

"The Lord bless you and keep you.  The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you, in your going out and in your coming in, in your rising and in your lying down, in your mourning and in your peace, in your labor and in your leisure, in your laughter and in your tears, until you too come to stand before him in the day in which there is no sunset and no dawn.  In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.  Amen."

 - Philip W. Williams

December 2002 Prayer

Stretch forth your hand, our health restore,

and make us rise to fall no more,

oh, let your face upon us shine

and fill the world with love divine.

November 2002 Prayer

“Let the vineyards be fruitful, Lord,

and fill to the rim our cup of blessing.

Gather a harvest from the seeds that were sown,

that we may be fed with the bread of life.

Gather the hopes and dreams of all;

unite them with the prayers we offer.

Grace our table with your presence,

and give us a foretaste of the feast to come.”

October 2002 Prayer

"Almighty God, who never wearies or tires, refresh us with your Divine strength as we turn to You at this time. Lift the burdens from our souls. Give us the courage and the wisdom to face the opportunities and responsibilities of this day. Teach us how to be guided by You. Fill us with the fullness of Your Presence. See through our eyes.  Listen through our ears. Speak through our lips. Think through our minds. Love through our hearts, and work through our hands and feet. Possess our mind, soul and body, and mold us into healthy, happy, useful people that You would have us be, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."

21 July 2002 Prayer

"Into our hearts, into our hearts, come into our hearts Lord Jesus, come in today, come in to stay, come into our Hearts Lord Jesus." Fill our minds, Lord Jesus, with your divine plan and purpose. Fill our spirits with your life and joy. Fill our bodies with your purifying and cleansing power. Make us whole and possess our entire beings and lead us out into the stream of your grace, using us to reach and to bless this congregation, and in doing so, bringing honor and praise to your holy and glorious name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
